Description

This comprehensive kit features the 487 Reaper chain drive camshaft, designed as a bolt-in upgrade that responds exceptionally well to increased bore and compression. The camshaft delivers strong bottom-end power and pulls hard above 2,950 rpm, offering a significant improvement over the stock performance between 2,250 and 6,100 rpm with a 38° overlap. The Race Series short travel lifters are engineered with 0.115" of total travel for optimal performance and reduced valve train noise. The high flow camplate, machined from billet 7075 aluminum, bolts directly into the stock location. This kit increases oil pressure and scavenge volume, resulting in a significant 15°-25° reduction in engine temperatures and 15°-30° reduction in oil temperatures. The Feuling Race Series oil pump contributes to a 10-30 PSI increase in oil pressure, which reduces wet sumping, blow-by, and oily air cleaners. The included ARP rocker studs and nuts ensure secure and reliable performance under high-stress conditions.
