Description

The Renthal Twinring™ rear sprocket is engineered for extreme durability and performance. The inner ring is machined from Renthal's high-strength Ultralight™ 7075 T-6 aluminum, ensuring minimal weight. The outer ring is constructed from electro-less nickel-coated steel, providing ultimate wear resistance. Designed with minimal material, the outer ring keeps weight down while maximizing strength. The outer ring is expanded at 200°C before being fitted over the inner ring. This interference fit, combined with a unique wave pattern, creates a permanent and incredibly strong bond that lasts the life of the sprocket. Flat socket head screws further enhance the chainwheel's strength, especially during side impacts, and prevent contact with the chain guide. Self-cleaning mud grooves between each tooth prevent dirt buildup, reduce chainwheel wear, and minimize weight. The Renthal Twinring™ sprocket lasts up to three times longer than a standard aluminum sprocket, while remaining significantly lighter than a comparable all-steel sprocket.
